hahaa...today was considered an early day again! haha. cos it's CME for the afternoon. and obviously i dun go for CME. summore must travel. anyway a brilliant idea popped into my head!!
i went to visit my engine frens!!! hahaah...just nice...they were all studying for tests...so i da bao food go there and eat and then mug with them!! haha. realli nice seeing andy after soooo long wah biang, i think i 10 yrs nv see him. ok la, the last time was during supper. haha...anyway wah biang i realli enjoy his company loh, realli miss his lame jokes and the way he talks. haha. no one else talks like him loh.. hahaha....mix of hokkien and chinese damn funny! haha...and jam!! wah u noe wat..jam even decorates her ROUGH PAPER. *faints*
i saw this piece of paper with a nicely decorated title...."ROUGH PAPER" wah biang eh. this ger studying or not!? HAHA. but then i understand. cos i am also v bo liao when i study. sometimes i doodle too.
at 4pm we went to see a robots competition at level 1 of the engine block! WAH!!! not bad sia...there were i think. 4-5 teams? they haf to shoot balls at 3 specified targets at diff angles..wah interesting leh. diff designs...diff speeds of shooting too. realli must be v creative. haha...1st time i see this kinda thing. i guess the sense of satisfaction will be damn big after they finish inventing the machine. haha..and i met my ex-choir fren yyee there! she was one of the participating teams (which lost i think haha...cos theirs like always get jammed). but oh my god, i realli couldn't recognise her. she's so. JAP ROCK/PUNKiefied!! haha...oh man. and i heard she went to japan for SEP! haa..no wonder lah...anyway she's still as amazing. whole day nv go lecture but still on the dean's list. just like in hwa chong times. can someone tell mi, y do such ppl exist and wat do they do at home? i doubt they are realli mugging at home right since they are so smart? haha...
today was realli fruitful for me clinics wise, becos i finally mastered the technique of fundoscopy!!! OH MY GOD! i love dr mandeep. he's realli good and made sure i could see the optic disc. he told me, ur success rate must be 100% becos the optic disc is there!!! today is the first time i saw the optic disc crystal clear. and after that, my success rate was 100% (of course on dilated pupils only!)wah pretty amazing sia. anyway the thing is...u haf to go REALLY REALLY close to the patient. haha...yup...and get used to focussing fast fast! wah amazing..i was realli excited when i saw non-proliferative DM retinopathy!! haha i could see the exudates and cotton wool spots!! omG!!! freaking awesome!!
but then hor, lately we all damn slack. nv go for afternoon clinics. i dun realli like gg to private clinics cos so little patients and each consult is so damn long. diff docs come in to look at the pt...so i dun learn much there... i think the MOs are really frenly and nice tho! [and pretty and probably RICH! haha LV BAGS loh!!!] seems like ophthalmology is a specialty to consider man! haha. but then, i think the eyes v tiring leh. whole day look thru slit lamp / ophthalmoscope / magnifying glass, will worsen ur own eyesight or not? haha..ironic sia. okay im rambling liao. better go back to my books soon...test on fri!!
