on saturday after my korean class we had a korean class outing to a superb korean restaurant Togi located in Chinatown! hehe...it was really fun and the food was yummy! it was pretty affordable too..$100 for 6 ppl..my teacher specially brot korean wine for us to try too...it's called "soju" hehe. and the ppl at the restaurant were kind enough to provide us with small cups and consume this "outside drink". we were abit worried that they insist we buy their drinks. hehe. anyway i think the soup was damn nice!! ginseng chicken soup. i dun usually like ginseng...but...the soup is not bitter at all! it's abit sweet! cos of the red dates! yummy. the chicken was damn tender too!! and u know can refill the soup one!! HAHA..the small dishes also refillable!! which restaurants allow refills man!! damn yummy!!! we also had tok bo gi (fried ramen, which was really spicy) and spicy octopus, fried oyster (which takes 20 min to prepare cos each oyster is individually dipped in egg and fried!) and brown rice (more fibre)...wah we all ate until damn happy. we talked and laffed alot...tried as much as we could to converse in korean cos our teacher encourages us to practice. hehe...trying it out with the korean waitresses...heh. this restaurant is run by a korean family! hehe...highly reccomended~
