hmm. as usual, i've spent my weekend slacking. somehow i jus need the weekend for myself...doing stuff i like to do and relaxing. somehow during weekdays i dun get enough sleep...sigh. that's really bad. so bad that i came home early last fri to sleep. haha...no point staying on lah, when u're constantly thinking of sleeping...yup...
first wk of ortho in S*h over...well, watever they said is true. tutors dun realli care about u...haha...too busy lah. well..i also din learn much. which really makes me not motivated at all. haha. we dun even go for ward rounds. trauma rounds start at 7am, which to me is, inhumane. HAHA. so i dun think i'll go for trauma rounds too. only fur goes for them, the rest of the cg doesn't. (if that makes me feel better. haha)
brand new week next week. kinda excited. the ahjumas at korean class invited me for coffee and dinner at some korean restaurant next week after class, with our korean teacher too! hehe. can't wait to try the korean food over there. and my korean teacher gave me a souvenir from korea, so sweet! hehe. she pian1 xin1, cos only buy for me and bawnat, nv buy for the rest hehe. so i'm not supposed to tell the rest that i got it! haha...
yay, gg to see my cgh tutor at kk on tues, for paeds ortho! hehe. i love prof lam~ hehe. u know i just started watching this jap drama called Orange days...so far it's been good, about this girl who lost her sense of hearing and subsequently became dumb...and it's not congenital...it's just gradual...she's been deaf for 4 yrs...it's realli sad to see her struggle with everyday life...being so angry at everything and everyone...thinking about simple things that we take for granted everyday, like how does someone's laughter sound like? how does it sound like when ppl run? and when the wind blows, wat kinda sound does the trees make... really sad. summore she used to be a very outstanding violinist...and now's she's gotta learn sign language all that...will she be able to fall in love? all the dates so far ran away as far as they could once they found out about her condition...all but this guy, who happens to know sign language too....she likes him...but she can't hear him. that really saddens her...haiz... still at epi 3 only! Haha. can't wait to watch more.
it's shows like this that make u treasure wat u haf...basic things we take for granted. being able to speak/talk/see/move... and then u realise how lucky u are...
okay on a happier note. i carried a 2 wk old baby today!! haha. my cousin's! so cute. and small. and fragile. i dun dare to carry while standing up...i must sit down. i scared drop la. HAHAa...yeah cute!!!!!!!! okay everyone hope the next week is better.
last night i caught Forbidden City with neo! it was fantastic! really enjoyable and nice!! Both of us got to wear dresses tat we nv wore b4! Mine’s bought from Bangkok on the last day at Siam Square! Haha!! Glad I can put it to use~ totally worth the $! all the best to Forbidden City when it hits broadway (i last heard. hehe)
