does anyone know how's grace doing over there at bangkok? BABE? drop us a line! HAHA.

GP posting has been realllll GOOD. HAHA.
i report to work at 10am! HAHA. and then leave at about 4+pm. sometimes we get free lunches/drinks from various drug reps/the GP himself. HAHA..

today was the best lah. our GP invited us to tag along to Warren Country club to enjoy a lunch sponsored by some drug company (the drug was esomeprazole) but we had to leave earli cos we had patho lecture lah. (haha, but we still late lah..cos we left at about 1.50pm, lect starts at 2) but woo...the food's realli good sia? we ate at Yam palace, in chinese it's called yan ge da jiu lou i think. haha. so yeah 2 of the dishes had yam!! so nice!!!! i love fried yam! hehe. and it was pretty awkward cos we're the only 2 med students in the whole table of GPs. HAHA. i feel so miniscule over there. but oh well, at the other table there were 2 other med students! HAHA. their GP also asked them to tag along..

so far, the GP posting has opened my eyes to alot of things...how impt connections and networking...and also how to make ur patients happy. each day at least 4-5 drug reps take a Q number to come and lick the GPs boots and ask him to buy drugs. wahh amazing lah. one after another from diff companies...it's kinda worse than selling insurance? i think they earn by commission and they haf some target to meet every month...and i mean there are only so many clinics in singapore leh....haf to fight among themselves...and then the GPs get invittations to dinners/lunches at posh restaurants summore...tsk tsk tsk...

oh man. i haf some writeup to complete cos it's due tmr. dang. i hate writeups.
