today a very special vehicle was parked outside my house.
it was flaming red in colour.
it looked really huge!
it made a lot of noise!
and it had many MEN in it.
it is......
non other than..
the SCDF fire engine!! hahaahahah
yah anyway. guess what. if not for MEEEEE (okay, more of my maid... who noticed it first), the entire row of houses in my row could have been burnt down!!

okay wat happened was quite exciting. in the late morning (surprise, i woke up b4 12! HAHA) i smelt some disgusting kinda smell coming from somewhere. it was damn smelly esp downstairs. me and my maid figured that it came from our neighbour's house. which was vacant cos everyone went out already. we din do anything first lah. maybe the smell was from somewhere else.
then after a while, my maid told me she saw SMOKE coming out from my neighbour's kitchen!!! it's not those kinda big black smoke lah, just normal whitish smoke coming out from duno where...but not alot also...we confirmed with the Other neighbour on the other side that it's not coming from their house.
i decided not to be a busybody at first lah. since the other neighbour also not going to do anything..
but after a while, the smell became stronger, the smoke still there...
so i called...my mother first. haha. to tell her about wat's happening and then guess what. haha. i dun dare to call 995 myself cos i scared it's not a fire lah!! then wait they think i playing a prank. but anyway, she got really worried and decided to call 995.
WOOHOO!! so exciting.
about 5 minutes later, the fire engine came. haha. and they came into my house...4 men wearing the big bulky jackets and carrying their barang barang..one of them had to keep talking to the walkie talkie. haha...they surveyed the situation and decided to climb over the wall to enter my neighbour's house! so we lent them our ladder (!!#@%$@% at first the fireman asked if he could step on my washing machine#%@^!$ he must be crazy.) then 2 more went over. then they broke into the kitchen window using some special technique (ie. break in. haha. lousy locks) and found an unattended cooking pot (apparently cooking soup)...the lid was apparently like all disintegrated and melted or sth lidat lah. cos burning for quite long so that's why the smoke damn smelly. so yah after he cleared stuff up (around 15min) he came out and closed back the kitchen window. haha. that's about it. haha. then they all climbed back to my house and went off. haha...end of story.
the supervisor told me to inform the neighbour when they come back.
and i just did! haha. the mother just came back and i told her about it.
u know the firemen actually wanted us to contact the neighbours so they can come back and switch it off themselves and they dun haf to breakin, but guess what! neither me nor the Other neighbour at the other side had their numbers. HAHA. i mean seriously, do u haf ur neighbour's contact number?!?!? like handphone number?! no right. cos it's so lame when u are living beside each other. and basically we're not close at all lah. haha...so yah. they had to break in.
that's probably the most exciting thing of the day. hmm. mugging is so sian!!! i need a bigger brain!
